    Cocks started their four-match away run with win and defeat

    Last week the current champion of Baltic Handball League, Cocks Riihimäki started to catch up with the rest of the teams in Group A and played two of their four postponed matches. Serviti Põlva surprisingly delivered Cocks their third defeat of the season before the Finns beat Dragunas Klaipeda away.

    Serviti, Tenax and Šviesa took important wins

    The Baltic Handball League weekend may have held only six matches, but what tight contests and passionate battles they were! One draw, two one-goal victories and in general, a real fight for points. Perhaps one figure proving the passion is that in just six games the referees awarded 56 two-minute suspensions!

    Group B is taking centre stage this weekend

    Another weekend of Baltic Handball League is ahead and this time the action will be concentrated on Group B. Five very important games will be played in Riga, Dobele and Viljandi. Group A will continue with just one game, but a crucial one as well, as Dragunas Klaipeda will host Serviti Põlva.

    Dragunas and Tenax the big winners of first weekend of 2019

    Three days of Baltic Handball League action offered everything – we had big wins, tight matches, draws, surprises and individual heroics. In the stronger Group A perhaps surprisingly the biggest winner over three days was Dragunas Klaipeda, claiming three points. In Group B, ZRHK Tenax Dobele added four points and became the new leader.

    BHL resumes with all 12 teams in action

    Baltic Handball League will resume for the first matches of 2019 this week, as all twelve clubs will spring into action over three days. Second half of the regular season is under way and points are more valuable than ever with teams determined to qualify for the Final Four or quarter-finals.

    Baltic Handball Association founded in Tallinn

    Today in Tallinn, the Baltic Handball Association (BHA) was founded, as handball leaders of three Baltic States gathered in Hotel L'Ermitage to discuss future developments. New organisation will not only advance the already existing men's Baltic Handball League, but has taken a broader perspective into developing handball in the region.
